Assurance Manager - Regulatory
We have a fantastic new role for a candidate with assurance experience in the financial services industry looking to make the transition to a regulatory role. In this position you will be responsible for evaluating compliance of third parties, building relationships with external stakeholders, and ensuring that channels of communication remain open and constructive
Who you are
We are looking for an analytical and perceptive individual who enjoys investigating the reasons behind issues and developing solutions.
You will have solid understanding of regulatory compliance and assurance in both principle and practice, ideally in a financial services context, and will have the communication skills to be able to explain these technical issues to a variety of audiences.
You will enjoy working in a collaborative environment and will have the experience to be able to influence senior stakeholders and develop reporting up to and including Board level.
What you would be doing
You will evaluating compliance in a series of third parties, and providing assurance to senior members of your organisation and others regarding the level of that compliance. You will be responsible for identifying any areas for improvement and for making suggestions to remediate any issues.
You will coordinate with several other areas of the business to identify potential areas of variance and then work with your team to determine effective action plans and how to implement them.
