Human Resources Manager
Full time. Based in Wellington.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources practitioner to join a specialist law firm as the HR Manager. This is a rewarding opportunity to lead the HR function providing HR advice and support to the practice of 100 people.
We are looking for someone who has their finger on the pulse regarding all things ‘people’. You will be someone the practice can actively go to for help and someone who actively keeps leadership informed on HR related matters.
You will assist in preserving and strengthening the culture and communications within the firm. You will develop and promote HR policies and procedures and provide support to the Practice Manager.
This role will appeal to someone who is currently a Senior HR Advisor that is ready to further develop their career, or an established HR Manager who is happy to hands-on, providing operational support.
The key requirements of this role are:
- High level understanding of relevant employment legislation
- Ability to manage and inspire employees
- An impressive track record thinking both strategically and operationally
- Ability to build workforce planning processes
