The Opportunity

This well-regarded mid-tier law firm is now seeking an experienced lawyer to join their Banking & Financial Services team in Auckland.

Working closely with industry-leading Partners, you will advise on transactional banking and finance law, including property and development finance, corporate finance, acquisition finance, retirement village financing and consumer lending/CCCFA as well as providing financial services/investment funds advice. The scope of the work is invigorating, and you will relish acting for leading national and international banks, lenders, corporate borrowers and financial institutions.

The Ideal You

• A NZ qualified solicitor with ideally 3+ years' legal experience from either another law firm and/or in-house role
• Some previous experience in corporate transactional banking & finance; or financial services is preferable.  However, if you have experience in general corporate and commercial or property law, and are interested in moving into a banking and finance focussed role, then our client would also welcome your application. 
• A team player and someone who is keen to mentor more junior lawyers.
