Our client is preparing for an exceptionally busy and exciting period and is looking for an experienced Instructional Designer to join their team. This is a fixed-term role until September 2026, designed for someone who thrives on creating engaging learning experiences.

This position focuses exclusively on content creation, giving you the opportunity to design innovative solutions that will have a lasting impact.

You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering high-quality training content that supports operational readiness. Working closely with subject matter experts and project teams, you’ll design digital learning resources that are clear, accessible, and aligned with adult learning principles.

What You’ll Do | Ngā Kawenga Matua

  • Develop engaging digital learning content and supporting materials for diverse audiences.
  • Create interactive modules and visual assets using modern design tools.
  • Translate complex processes into clear, effective learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure content meets organisational goals and deadlines.
  • Contribute to a consistent, scalable training experience across the organisation.

  • You’re a creative and detail-oriented professional who thrives on turning complex ideas into clear, engaging learning experiences.
  • You bring strong experience in designing digital and blended learning solutions, with the ability to craft content that is both visually appealing and instructionally sound.
  • Your background includes working with contemporary e-learning tools and design software, and you’re confident in applying these to produce high-quality materials.
  • You enjoy working independently, take ownership of projects from concept to delivery, and maintain excellent communication with stakeholders throughout.
  • You balance creativity with structure to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional results.
