We are seeking an experienced leader to manage a national team and deliver excellence in the Trust’s programmes of supporting Digital inclusion across New Zealand.
The 20/20 Trust provides Digital Inclusion leadership, research and programmes, partnering with local communities to deliver Digital Inclusion programmes throughout Aotearoa, New Zealand. Their guiding principle is to ensure every person in New Zealand is able to fully participate in the digital world.
Leading a team that is based across the country, the Chief Executive is responsible for supporting the board in strategy development, by providing advice and recommendations and ensuring the Trust is at the forefront of thinking when it comes to Digital inclusion. You will provide direction to the organisation and be an effective advocate for Digital inclusion across New Zealand.
You will also ensure delivery of services in line with funding contract specifications and use your extensive stakeholder management experience to develop and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders such as the Tertiary Education Commission, Internet NZ and other public and private sector funding agencies.
You will have experience managing a diverse team across multiple locations, and will be able to demonstrate successful leadership of such a team to achieve a common goal. You will also have a strong understanding of reporting directly to a board alongside a willingness to have robust conversations with senior stakeholders.
You will understand and demonstrate appreciation of tikanga Māori and will be committed to upholding the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Experience in a not for profit environment is helpful but not essential, as is prior experience at the Chief Executive level.
