Learning & Development Lead
16-months fixed term, full time. Based in Wellington.
Our client is a large government agency, looking for a passionate and experienced Learning and Development practitioner to join the Human Resources team.
In this role you would be responsible for leading the full spectrum of learning solutions for a large directorate within the ministry. You will be leading a small team as well as managing key stakeholder relationships and budgets.
With a strong background in Learning and Development, you will be responsible for building and enhancing capability of the team to ensure quality and consistency of learning practices and advice in relation to the team’s work.
The key requirements of this role are:
- Extensive experience in organizational capability development or learning and development
- Experience in articulating clear L&D value propositions for a business audience and actively demonstrating the value of learning to the business
- Experience in leading a high performing team
- Strong business and L&D acumen; expert applied problem solving skills, critical thinking, solution focus and initiative
