Job Description

Recruitment Consultant Wellington

Our teams in Auckland and Wellington are expanding and we would love to hear from super engaged and outgoing graduates and recent graduates who are seeking a fresh opportunity in 2022.

About you

If you’re already the friend introducing all your friends to one another, introducing family members to potential employers or vice versa (and maybe a bit of match making), this job is for you. A genuine interest in helping people realise their goals is a huge component of recruitment, and having a natural disposition toward wanting to help others is key.

Experience in human resources and/or the recruitment industry would be useful, but full training will be provided.

You must be an awesome communicator, who is a natural connector with a strong interest in using smart technology to help Aotearoa New Zealand grow stronger, more diverse and inclusive organisations. You will need to have strong verbal and written communication skills, the confidence and ability to present to senior professionals and clients and have fantastic time management skills with an ability to multitask. It would be awesome if you have fluency or proficiency with te Reo Māori, Mandarin or Cantonese or a Pacific language but this is not a must (and we provide weekly te Reo Maōri training for all of our team).

We would be particularly interested in people who have studied arts, music, psychology, law, political science, marketing or communications, but most importantly we are looking for team that have led interesting and engaged lives outside of study.

Our rewards include a competitive base salary, uncapped bonus structure, flexibility to work from home, mobile, laptop and ongoing training.  Our top performers are recognised with a travel package to a recruitment conference and monthly rewards including celebratory lunches and up to 12 rostered-days-off per annum in addition to annual leave.

Diversity & Inclusion

You should enjoy working as part of a team and have a flair for dealing with people from all walks of life.  Niche places great importance on Diversity and Inclusion strategies in the workplace and ensuring that these standards are met within our recruitment processes.  Dedication in this area, together with the desire to succeed will ensure your success.
