The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) is the professional body and postgraduate educational institute for general practitioners (GPs) and rural hospital doctors.
Our key aim is to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequities for all people in Aotearoa. We do this by setting and maintaining education and quality standards, and supporting our members to provide competent, equitable care to their patients.

Mō tēnei tūranga mahi – About the role
We are seeking a He Manukura that will be joining a passionate rōpū that looks to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequalities across the motu. This is an exciting opportunity to lead tikanga and kawa for the College. You will have the ability to awhi the Tumuaki Māori to ensure that advice given to the Executive Leadership Tīma is grounded in Te Ao Māori.
Ko koe tēnei - About you
To be successful in this role you will bring:
An in depth understanding and a working knowledge of te Triti o Waitangi
Te reo Māori me ōna tikanga combined with the ability to operate in Te Ao Māori and Te Ao Pākehā environments
Experience in delivering systems and process that are kaupapa māori centric
