[Social] Policy Analysts/Advisors – All levels

We are working closely with our partners across the public sector to find bright policy minds interested in reviewing, challenging, and improving social systems in Aotearoa New Zealand.

In general, in these roles you will:

• Undertake complex policy analysis and lead development of strategic, innovative, and sustainable policy options.
• Provide strategic direction to the government’s efforts to improve wellbeing outcomes for all New Zealanders. 
• Take part in diverse project teams and engage with a broad range of agencies and stakeholders.
• Ensure the implications of the Treaty of Waitangi, Human Rights, and equity considerations are fully addressed in policy work.

About you

• Familiar with Cabinet and Parliamentary systems, process, and other requirements relevant to policy making
• Use strategic and critical thinking to deconstruct complex problems and design meaningful solutions.
• Build and draw on collaborative networks to deliver high-quality project outputs.
