Camco, is a climate and impact fund manager with over 30 years’ history in sustainable development. They are now leading the transition to a prosperous net zero future to address climate change and deliver positive impact in the Pacific region. With a team of over 25 professionals they have an informal and collegial working culture focused on results.

Due to continued growth and expansion into emerging Pacific markets, we are seeking an experienced Investment Associate to join the team during this new and exciting phase.

The Opportunity

Working with the Pacific Regional Manager, and supported by international teams, you will be immersed in and have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of work including project managing new fund roll outs, analysing and helping to structure possible fund investments, and engaging with stakeholders.

If you want to enable real change in peoples’ lives, you will enjoy the opportunities and work available with Camco. Focusing on two investment platforms, you will review and write investment papers, and develop financial models, with the view to supporting inclusive employment, facilitate climate resilience and sustainable development, and assisting local renewable energy developers within the Pacific region.

There will be a variety of location options for the successful candidate to work from.

About You

You will be self-driven, with a strong understanding of finance, and a genuine interest in climate and impact investment within the Pacific region.

You will bring:

  • A minimum of 4-5 years’ applied experience within an investment role
  • Some multi-sector experience, such as, manufacturing, energy, agriculture, transport, tourism, construction, digital economy, fishing, resources
  • A tertiary degree in business, economics, finance, engineering or a similar relevant field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling
  • Lived experience with one or more Pacific culture
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong team-player and a ‘can do’ attitude
