Mō tēnei tūranga mahi – About the role

Reporting to the Quality Improvement Manager, you will be based in Whakatāne and be part of a passionate and kaupapa driven team that looks to lead and carry out programme development, approval, accreditation, and evaluation processes and functions for new and current Wānanga programmes.

Current mahi involves:

  • Writing, reviewing, and coordinating programme and course developments and redevelopments from Levels 0 to 10.
  • Coordinating new programme developments with staff within schools and contractors from levels 1-10.
  • Writing and reviewing academic policies.

 

Ko koe tēnei – About you

  • To be successful in this role you will bring:
  • Proven experience engaging and working alongside internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel and must hold a valid New Zealand license.
  • A relevant degree in Education or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification.
  • Tertiary teaching experience. 
  • Experience writing curriculum for new and/or redeveloped programmes in the tertiary sector to meet NZQA, TEC and MoE standards. 
  • Proven experience in self-evaluation, monitoring, and Quality Management Systems.
