Our client is a well-regarded, full-service law firm in South Auckland. They are currently seeking a lawyer to join their Manukau office.
You will enjoy working directly alongside a a highly experienced Partner who has a great reputation for mentoring and developing lawyers in the team. Your workload will have a strong focus on relationship property matters (mainly transactional advisory work - contracting out agreements etc) with the opportunity to also either do a mix of family/civil litigation (all private client - no legal aid) OR a property & private client work mix (depending upon your interest). The nature of this type of work will mean that you will have the opportunity to have a significant amount of client contact.
The Ideal You
- A NZ qualified solicitor with ideally, 1-5 years’ legal experience
- Some prior experience in relationship property (contentious and/or non-contentious) is essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Keen to learn and grow your legal career.
