Programme Coordinator | Kaituitui Kaupapa

This role will coordinate delivery of fixed term, special projects related to the Archive’s property strategy, and data management systems. To be successful, you will need solid experience supporting complex, deadline-driven projects working to fixed timelines & budgets.

Salary: $67,708   -   $79,656 (100%) + superannuation

This is an exciting time to join Ngā Taonga as we’re currently undertaking some important, fixed-term projects out of the Office of the Chief Executive to support strategic goals, and position Ngā Taonga as a future-focused audiovisual archive.

 

Ko ngā whāinga o te tūranga: | The role will see you:

  • coordinate multiple projects linked to strategic priorities.
  • work closely with project managers to achieve annual delivery targets.
  • liaise with vendors through procurement, contract setting & delivery.
  • coordinating agendas & note taking for project meetings, workshops & training.
  • track targets for project control & Board reporting.

We’re looking for a confident project coordinator with strong communication & self-management; someone who is excited by the unique mahi & culture of Ngā Taonga. You may have career aspirations we can support on the job, or through the reduced full-time hours we offer all kaimahi.

 

We are looking for candidates with the following attributes

  • 2 – 3 years experience successfully coordinating programme or complex project delivery
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with project managers & key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience working with programme / project artefacts such as risk and issue. registers, scheduling and tracking tools. 
  • Outcome-focused, is productive and innovative, shows initiative in solving problems.  
  • Comfortable operating in a tikanga / kaupapa Māori environment. 
  • Previous experience providing governance support would be an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
