HR Projects Specialist – 12 to 24 Month Fixed Term

Mō te tūranga | About the role

This is a senior project role at the heart of people and culture transformation. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you’ll lead a portfolio of strategic HR projects that strengthen employee experience, modernise core processes, and embed wellbeing and health & safety initiatives. 

From refreshing graduate and onboarding programmes, through to developing HR frameworks and rolling out wellbeing and risk initiatives, your work will leave a lasting legacy. You’ll be trusted to scope, plan, and deliver projects end-to-end, keeping senior leaders and governance committees informed along the way.

  • Strong background in senior HR generalist or project roles
  • Proven experience designing and delivering HR or people projects end-to-end
  • Passion for employee experience, journey mapping, and human-centred design
  • Commercial and strategic mindset, with the ability to align people projects to business goals
  • Skilled at navigating ambiguity, creating structure, and bringing people on the journey
  • Strong design and communication skills to bring ideas to life
  • Ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders and navigate change
