The Opportunity

Do you want to diversify your practice? Are you feeling pigeon-holed into one area of law? Our client is a well-respected firm located in South Auckland, known for their professional and friendly approach to their clients. They seek a General Practice Solicitor to join their tight-knit team and practice across a wide range of areas working towards taking over a well-established client base. You will be a self-starter but supported with mentorship and guidance from senior level staff to up-skill in and develop expertise in any of the practice areas. With the rare opportunity for immediate growth and progression, you will enjoy working on matters, such as residential conveyancing, estate administration, trusts, wills, EPAs, and some commercial law. This firm encourages and fosters open communication and the opportunity to build solid client relationship and shape your own unique career path.

About You

The successful candidate will be collaborative, friendly, and committed to providing excellence. You will have a real interest in working in South Auckland.

Ideally, you will be:

• A NZ qualified lawyer with 3-7+ years’ legal experience from another private practice 
• Prior general practice experience 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A confident and professional manner
• Personable and 'can-do' attitude
