In this role, you’ll:
- Be a communications superstar with confidence in managing media relations, identifying proactive opportunities, and mitigating risks.
- Provide top-notch strategic communications and stakeholder advice as a key business partner.
- Develop and craft content for various products and communication channels to enhance our work and amplify our impact.
- Offer collegial support and backup to fellow team members as needed.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong media management skills and the ability to identify and seize proactive opportunities while managing risks.
- Proven experience in leading, developing, and executing communication strategies and plans.
- Excellent strategic and critical thinking abilities, with the knack for seeing the big picture, defining problems clearly, analysing issues, and providing sound, objective advice.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to write clearly and concisely in plain English.
- Experience in internal communications.
- Some understanding of, and experience with, te ao Māori.

Salary: $110,000 - $125,000
