General Manager – Business Growth

Workbridge Holdings Limited seeks a commercially focused leader for our newly created General Manager, Business Growth role. This strategic position drives our business expansion through developing new revenue streams, partnerships and opportunities to ensure our financial sustainability and growth.

The Role
As General Manager, Business Growth, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for identifying new growth opportunities, developing robust business cases, and securing partnerships across the private and public sectors. Your commercial insight will position Workbridge as a leader in employment-related services beyond traditional disability employment support.

You will identify and evaluate business opportunities and market segments, building compelling business cases with clear ROI projections and thorough risk assessments. You will forge and maintain strategic partnerships with both corporate and government stakeholders, driving performance-focused, values-aligned commercial initiatives. The role also involves leading due diligence processes, overseeing implementation, and ensuring the successful integration of new business lines into existing operations.

The role requires an on-site presence in Wellington at least two days per week to foster collaboration and maintain strong relationships with other senior leaders and team members.

The remuneration includes a base salary of $160,700 plus 20% incentive.

About You
We are seeking an experienced business development leader who offers:

  • Proven ability to evaluate business opportunities and assess addressable markets for new services.
  • Expertise in developing robust business cases with clear value propositions and ROI analysis.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to support and drive the growth of new business initiatives.
  • High personal integrity with a deep alignment to organisational values.
  • Direct or indirect experience of disability, ensuring authentic engagement with the organisation’s purpose and community.
  • A strategic mindset with the capability to lead due diligence and oversee implementation of new commercial initiatives.
