• Location – Invercargill, Dunedin or Palmerston North (Manawatu is preferred)

Join a team dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of those in extreme need. Orphans Aid International is seeking a passionate and committed Head of Retail – Op Shops to play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's op shops around New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the smooth running of the op shops and pop up shops
• Support and sales assistance to the op shop managers and sales teams
• Assisting Op Shop Managers with monthly budgets and goals
• Working with Op Shop Managers on sales campaigns, promotions and other events
• Assisting stores with volunteer training and needs
• Recruitment and onboarding of new staff
• Creating a sense of team between the shops around the country
• Full and current New Zealand Drivers Licence.

You will bring:

• Previous experience in retail (preferably in Op Shops)
• Creativity and design flair
• The ability to travel and work independently
• Budget management experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to influence, persuade and negotiate effectively at all levels.
• Skilled at facilitation, problem solving and conflict resolution
• Previous work in the charitable sector or fundraising is advantageous but not essential.
