Are you a driven and dedicated legal professional with a passion for civil litigation? Our client is seeking a talented Solicitor to join its collegial Litigation Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of challenging civil litigation matters and to provide exceptional legal services to the firm’s clients, all while working as part of an experienced, supportive and collaborative team.
Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About the role
In this role you will provide expert advice and top-notch legal representation working closely with an Associate. You will conduct legal research, prepare advice for clients, draft court documentation, prepare evidence, work with witnesses, draft agreements (including settlement agreements) and appear in Court as required.
This role requires a high level of analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- A Bachelor of Laws and current practising certificate (or eligibility to obtain one).
- 1+ years’ PQE. Experience with litigation or insurance law is a plus.
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to suit different audiences.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
- A team-oriented mindset, with a willingness to assist and support colleagues.
- A professional and confident manner.
In addition, your personal attributes should include initiative and a commitment to providing outstanding client service.
