In this role, you’ll:

  • Be a communications superstar with confidence in managing media relations, identifying proactive opportunities, and mitigating risks.
  • Provide top-notch strategic communications and stakeholder advice as a key business partner.
  • Develop and craft content for various products and communication channels to enhance our work and amplify our impact.
  • Offer collegial support and backup to fellow team members as needed.

 

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Strong media management skills and the ability to identify and seize proactive opportunities while managing risks.
  • Proven experience in leading, developing, and executing communication strategies and plans.
  • Excellent strategic and critical thinking abilities, with the knack for seeing the big picture, defining problems clearly, analysing issues, and providing sound, objective advice.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to write clearly and concisely in plain English.
  • Experience in internal communications.
  • Some understanding of, and experience with, te ao Māori.

Salary: $110,000 - $125,000
